This piece features a trim and underlining using our signature purple multicolor fabric handwoven by Don Manuel & family in Nahuala, Guatemala who uses a traditional weaving loom passed down through generations. Manuel de Jesus, his family, and the entire village just outside of Nahuala weave not only as a source of income but to keep their culture and traditions alive.
This piece is then sewn by Doña Magdalena in Sanford, North Carolina. Born in El Salvador, Doña Magdalena has been sewing from a very young age and brings over 30 years of craftsmanship to every piece she makes.
This bucket hat was made in a BSCI/SMETA certified facility and is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified. It is made out of 100% recycled polyester.
The artisanal fabric from Guatemala is 100% cotton.
