Your kitchen or bathroom, elevated. The Lina Hand Towel pairs a 100% cotton terry towel with a 1.75-inch horizontal band of our artisan fabric. Designed to stay in place (watch the video to see how) and add a little color to your everyday routine. Functional, handcrafted, and made from the same fabrics as our clothing. Because great design shouldn't stop at your closet.
Note: These towels are part of a limited series. Only 7 pieces are still available.
This piece is available in multiple fabrics, each handcrafted by a different artisan community across Latin America.
The Green and Purple Multicolored fabrics are handwoven by Don Manuel & Family in Nahuala, Guatemala, using a traditional weaving loom passed down through generations. Manuel de Jesus, his family, and the entire village just outside of Nahuala weave not only as a source of income but to keep their culture and traditions alive.
The Cream Multicolored fabric is sourced by Sandra from Aguayos in Cusco, Peru, someone who welcomed us with kindness when we visited her store in 2021 and taught us what every pattern represented.
Each fabric option is then sewn by Doña Magdalena in Sanford, North Carolina, who brings over 30 years of craftsmanship to every piece she makes.
The artisanal fabrics from Guatemala are 100% cotton. The Peru fabric is 100% acrylic wool.
Each piece is handmade to order and will be ready in 2–4 weeks. If you need it sooner, email us at hola@descalza.co with your order number and what you have in mind, and we'll do our best to make it work.
