Bold from the first wear. The Adora Blouse is all-woven ikat fabric, the kind that makes people stop and ask where you got it. Fitted at the bust and flared out from there, designed to be loosely fitting with a slightly longer back hem for that effortless, put-together look. Pair it with denim, trousers, or your favorite wide-leg pants. There's no wrong answer with this one.
The fabric in this piece is handwoven by Don Manuel & Family in Nahuala, Guatemala, using a traditional weaving loom passed down through generations. Manuel de Jesus, his family, and the entire village just outside of Nahuala weave not only as a source of income but to keep their culture and traditions alive.
This piece is then sewn by Doña Magdalena in Sanford, North Carolina. Born in El Salvador, Doña Magdalena has been sewing from a very young age and brings over 30 years of craftsmanship to every piece she makes.
The artisanal fabrics are 100% cotton. While the linings are a cotton/polyester blend.
