The hand-embroidered motifs on this piece are stitched by Guady Flores and her team in La Palma, El Salvador. The daughter of two artisans, Guady has been making her entire life. At 14, she began taking courses to sharpen her techniques, and in 2016, she started her own business with her partner and her mother. She believes that each person who purchases a piece carries a little seed of her country, made by the hands of her people.
The pocket and trim are then finished by Doña Magdalena in Sanford, NC.
This heavyweight, relaxed shirt is 100% cotton with a 7.5oz weight and was made in a Los Angeles-based facility that operates on partial solar power and complies with California’s stringent EPA regulations. This shirt was also manufactured with Blue Sign certified dyes and is WRAP Certified.
The artisan trim is 100% acrylic wool.
Due to the hand-embroidered process, slight variations are expected and celebrated.
