About the Artisans

Guatemala

 

The Black, Purple Multicolor, and Blue, Red, & White fabrics from Guatemala are handwoven by Don Manuel & Family in Nahuala, Guatemala, using the traditional weaving loom. 

 

El Salvador 

 

The Mustard Yellow and Red Multicolored fabrics from El Salvador are handwoven by Don Chepe in Concepcion de Ataco, El Salvador.

 

Peru 

 

The Cream Multicolored fabric is sourced by Sandra from Aguayos, Cusco. 

 

This piece is sewn by Doña Magdalena in Sanford, North Carolina.

Fabric Content

The artisanal fabrics from Guatemala are 100% cotton. While the El Salvador and Peru fabrics are 100% acrylic wool. The linings are a cotton/polyester blend.
