Lola Open Front Vest

Let the vest do the talking. The Lola is a sleeveless, open-front vest with a folded collar and a hidden pocket. It's versatile enough to layer over a simple tee yet bold enough to carry any outfit on its own.

Made with handwoven artisan fabric from Latin America, sewn in North Carolina. Once this fabric is finished, this exact piece won't be available again. 

About the Artisans

The colorful fabric is handwoven by Don Chepe in Concepción de Ataco, El Salvador. Our oldest artisan, Don Chepe, has over 50 years of weaving experience and has devoted his life to teaching the next generation how to preserve traditional weaving.

 

This piece is then sewn by Doña Magdalena in Sanford, North Carolina. Born in El Salvador, Doña Magdalena has been sewing from a very young age and brings over 30 years of craftsmanship to every piece she makes.

Fabric Content

The artisanal fabric is 100% acrylic wool. The lining is 100% cotton.

Delivery Time

Each piece is handmade to order and will be ready in 4–6 weeks. If you need it sooner, email us at hola@descalza.co with your order number and what you have in mind, and we'll do our best to make it work.
